I have a Gen 6 i7, with 16GB of RAM and GTX 1080, so I think well above minimum specs even if the computer is a bit old now. Has anyone come accross this on webcames and know what may be causing my webcam to behave this way.

The image is still slightly unstable but otherwise is viewable. So going back to the windows camera app, turning down the video resolution to 720p solves most of the issue. As of September, 2020: Check with manufacturer for the most up-to-date compatibility. After playing around with it, I noticed that apps like zoom which doesn't need the 1080p resolution seems to have a stable image. Got home with the new model and still the same issue. After rebooting the computer, installing and uninstalling the webcame drivers and installing the Logitech webcam app (which does nothing but give some basic settings), I made a return of the webcam to the store for a new webcam of the same model.

Threats include any threat of suicide, violence, or harm to another. I got home hooked it up and fired up the Windows Camera app and immediately noticed a problem, the image is juddery and seems to be broken up like puzzle pieces and reassambling itself. Harassment is any behavior intended to disturb or upset a person or group of people. If I swtich OBS to the native webcam on my laptop it is widescreen. Im setting up OBS and my webcam is only showing up as a shortened rectangle, almost square. Over there is shows up full screen like normal. I bought the C615 which is on sale and a good deal. I have been using it to broadcast directly on facebook. I need a webcam to use Proctorio which is an online test taking virtual proctor. I searched Google but nothing has come up.
